Selected Response: test-takers utilize information from the stimulus to answer a set of three questions. Test-takers will select a correct answer out of 3 or 4 provided choices.

Science Supported Performance Tasks (SPT): test takers complete a chart or diagram using a set of option cards (manipulatives). Test-takers may manipulate the option cards independently or indicate the desired placement to the Test Administrator through their preferred mode of expressive communication. SPTs will have either 3 or 4 option cards for the test-taker to manipulate. For SPTs with 3 option cards, the Test Administrator gives the test-taker a card to place on the chart or diagram. For SPTs with 4 option cards, the Test Administrator asks the test-taker to select a card in response to a question and place that card on the chart or diagram.

Additional information for Test Administrators can be found in the CoAlt Test Administrator Manual.
